Q: Do you do animation?
A: We can create animations for cameras and simple objects but we do not create character animations. It is however possible for us to refer you to our contacts in animation if needed.
Q: What game engine do you use for interactive projects?
A: Unity is the engine we use most often, but some of our projects are on Unreal Engine.
Q: What rendering tool do you use for 3D rendering projects?
A: For environment scenes, we use VRay. For product promotion scenes, we use Keyshot.
Q: What technology do you use for 3D viewers?
A: We really like Marmoset Toolbag and Sketchfab, these are our two most used tools for viewers. When it comes to a configurator, however, we go with Sketchfab, since Marmoset does not offer configuration tools. We have also previously collaborated on projects with homemade 3D viewers by our entrepreneur friends at Catalyst Studio.
Q: What is the difference between a 3D viewer and a 3D configurator?
A: A 3D viewer allows you to view an object or scene in real time from all angles while a 3D configurator not only allows you to view, but also to customize in real time an object or a scene. In general, a configurator allows you to change colors and materials, or even to change certain parts of an object to show all the variations.
